THANK YOU A heartfelt thank you to the Catholic Women’s League for their dedication and hard work in beautifully organizing the Lenten Lunches. We are also deeply grateful to all our parishioners who attended, supported, and contributed so generously. Your kindness and community spirit made the lunches a true success and a joyful expression of our shared faith. Thank you for helping to create such a welcoming and meaningful event.

COMBINED EFFORTS FOR CHRISTMAS CHEER Christmas presented us with two opportunities to combine our efforts with the Giving Tree Initiative (first started in 2021) and the Senior Citizen’s Christmas Tea Party (2022). Two Giving Trees – in Our Lady of Peace and St Andrew’s – provided gifts for Burnham Care & Share and Ukraine families. Thanks to the generosity of this Parish, donations under both trees exceeded all our expectations. A letter of thanks from the Burnham Health Promotion Trust can be seen at the back of both Churches.
The Senior Citizen’s Christmas Tea Party was attended by more than 50 guests. We enjoyed an afternoon of culinary delights with Christmas presents for all and a very lively Christmas Carol sing- along with the choir. Both initiatives were as a result of multiple groups coming together to organise, prepare and facilitate on the day – namely St Vincent de Paul Society, Catholic Women’s League, members from the Parish Council and the Our Lady of Peace Choir. We can be very proud of our Parish, blessed with so many people who are willing to go above and beyond for the sake of our parishioners and for the glory of God.
