HOST OUR LADY WITH THE ROSARY CAMPAIGN October is a month dedicated to Our Lady of the Rosary. Devotion to Mary has always been at the heart of our life and worship. It’s a good time to remember that Mary’s ‘yes’ changed the world. Our Lady’s statue will be passed from one household to another throughout the month of October. We invite families to come together to say the Rosary and if possible, invite neighbors to pray with them. Please contact Venecia, our Parish Secretary, via email office.ourladyofpeace[AT]northamptondiocese.org or by phone at 01628 60576 to express your interest and provide a few preferable dates.
TRANSPORT TO CHURCH Should anyone require a lift for any of our weekend masses at St Andrew’s kindly speak to Venecia (Parish Secretary), or send an email to office.ourladyofpeace[AT]northamptondiocese.org to have this arranged.
MASS INTENTIONS If you wish to book a Mass Intention please place the intention in an envelope, write the name of the person(s) who the Mass is for, whether Deceased or Intention, also the name of the person who is offering the Mass. IMPORTING LITERATURE TO CHURCH It is possible that some of our parishioners will visit other thriving churches and prayer groups who provide ‘great articles’ or amazing programs that they believe are suitable for distribution. In the Roman Catholic Church it is the norm that any such ‘wonderful’ leaflets, newsletters, tracts, and religious objects be shown to the priest in charge of the Church before they are left on the church premises. Recently, we have noticed with concern the importation of upsetting religious literature and objects that are left in the narthexes of our churches. We wish to bring to the attention of all that if anyone should come across something of ‘high religious significance’, it must be shown to the priest before being left at the entrance of our Churches. Any such advertisements displayed on our notice boards, as well as religious objects and documentation left at the entrance of our churches, will be retrieved and destroyed.
FAMILIES NEEDING HELP If anyone is aware of people who require assistance/help, please provide names and contact information to the parish office.

OUR PARISH LIST OF THE SICK There is a book where you can enter the name of the person to be prayed for. In line with Data Protection legislation please obtain the consent of the person before entering their name in the book. This book will be placed on the altar during each Mass in Our Lady of Peace Church.
GOING INTO HOSPITAL? If you wish to receive the Sacrament of Holy Communion and Anointing of the Sick before going into Hospital please let us know. A visit can be arranged from Fr Anthony or Fr Marek.
CONFIRMING OUR PARISH NAME In discussion with Bishop David recently, it has been decided to firm up the name of our combined Parish by combining the two names together in a new logo. Going forward we are ‘Our Lady of Peace and St Andrew’s’. The Bishop is happy with this slight amendment as it helps in some way for people to understand that we are truly one Parish and not two separate entities. You will see the new logo appearing across the Parish in future.
