CHILDREN LITURGY There will be a liturgy of the word this Sunday 30th June at OLOP, for all children attending school years Reception to Year 3 during the 9.30am Mass.
IMPORTING LITERATURE TO CHURCH It is possible that some of our parishioners will visit other thriving churches and prayer groups who provide ‘great articles’ or amazing programs that they believe are suitable for distribution. In the Roman Catholic Church it is the norm that any such ‘wonderful’ leaflets, newsletters, tracts, and religious objects be shown to the priest in charge of the Church before they are left on the church premises. Recently, we have noticed with concern the importation of upsetting religious literature and objects that are left in the narthexes of our churches. We wish to bring to the attention of all that if anyone should come across something of ‘high religious significance’, it must be shown to the priest before being left at the entrance of our Churches. Any such advertisements displayed on our notice boards, as well as religious objects and documentation left at the entrance of our churches, will be retrieved and destroyed.
WEDNESDAY COFFEE MORNING The once-a-month-coffee morning at Our Lady of Peace Church. Join us at OLOP after Mass on Wednesday 3rd July for tea or coffee, cake and a chat.

The priests and deacons of the Pastoral Area will be concelebrating the Mass, as will Bishop David, who was ordained on July 5th 1980. CONFIRMING OUR PARISH NAME In discussion with Bishop David recently, it has been decided to firm up the name of our combined Parish by combining the two names together in a new logo. Going forward we are ‘Our Lady of Peace and St Andrew’s’. The Bishop is happy with this slight amendment as it helps in some way for people to understand that we are truly one Parish and not two separate entities. You will see the new logo appearing across the Parish in future.
