HOUR OF GRACE Will take place on Friday, March 1st, beginning with a Mass at 7 pm.

- Each Wednesdays after 9.30am Mass & Fridays at 7.00pm in Our Lady of Peace Church.
- Each Thursdays in St Andrew’s Church after 9.30am Mass.
STATION MASS FOR THE PASTORAL AREA OF SLOUGH In Rome there is a tradition on fast days to process to different churches where Mass and Vespers would be celebrated especially to honour of the martyrs remembered there. This developed into a Lenten practice where the Pope would visit the church to celebrate Mass with the people of his diocese. The Roman Missal strongly encourages the preservation and development of the traditional form of gathering the local Church after the fashion of the Roman ‘stations’. This is why Bishop David is celebrating 5 Stations Masses in the Diocese during this Lenten season. Bishop David will be celebrating the stations Mass with all Catholics in the Slough pastoral area on Tuesday, 5th March at 7.30pm. Venue: Holy Family Catholic Church, Langley. Please let us all Join Our Chief Shepherd, Bishop David and our venerable Dean, Canon Kevin for this very important celebration.
WORLD DAY OF PRAYER 2024 A prayer service will be held at the Burnham Methodist Church on Friday, March 1st, 2024, at 2 pm. The theme of the service is “I beg you, bear with one another in love.” The prayer resources for these service have been produced by Palestinian Christian women. All are welcome to participate.

PARISH MISSION WEEKEND Yet another reminder that we are considering collaborating with the SION Community to organise a parish mission weekend. Tentatively, we are looking at the weekend of March 15th to 17th. The parish mission strives to awaken people in our parish to the depths of the love, hope, truth, beauty, and power of Our Lord Jesus Christ and his Church. It will be a special time for our parish to evangelise, catechise, and inflame hearts with ardent love for Christ and his Church. To do this, we need volunteers who desire to share in the Mission of Christ and his Church. The Sion Community will host an online session with us to discuss our involvement. Please show willingness by providing your name and email address to our Parish Secretary via office.ourladyofpeace[AT]northamptondiocese.org

CONFIRMING OUR PARISH NAME In discussion with Bishop David recently, it has been decided to firm up the name of our combined Parish by combining the two names together in a new logo. Going forward we are ‘Our Lady of Peace and St Andrew’s’. The Bishop is happy with this slight amendment as it helps in some way for people to understand that we are truly one Parish and not two separate entities. You will see the new logo appearing across the Parish in future.
