The London and Slough Run was established in 1984 to support the homeless and people in need.
Distributing food, drink, clothing, bedding and toiletries to over 300 needy people on our streets.
Staffed solely by volunteers offering support and kindness to those that have no-one else to turn to. With bases in Buckinghamshire and Berkshire the volunteers organise the food and clothing each week and from there it is taken to London and Slough to hand out.
Helping people of all ages, nationalities and circumstances often from troubled backgrounds and living on the streets or on the poverty line as the result of redundancy, marital break ups or difficulties coping with everyday life.
We are entirely dependent on the generosity of its volunteers and its supporters, many of whom come from Burnham, Gerrards Cross, Slough and Marlow and without whom the charity could not operate. Visit our website for more information on how you can help. Please ‘Like’ us on facebook.

HOMELESS SUNDAY 2021 Next Sunday, February 21st will be celebrated as Homeless Sunday in our Parish. Our parish charity The London and Slough Run for the homeless has been working hard in Slough for the past year alongside Slough Council and SHOC (Slough Homeless our Concern) to provide for the homeless in the area. Many have been found accommodation and some of which has been funded by the charity to help people back into society and to find work. They also collect food from supermarkets and Heathrow caterers, and distribute it to the needy via the food banks, hostels and faith communities. The Parish usually supports the annual ‘Sleep out’ which could not take place last year. Knowing that many people are struggling financially the charity is asking those who can afford to give something to go to the Just Giving page of the website, or drop it in to the Presbytery in an envelope marked ‘London Run’. Very many thanks.
