Update: Following a lengthy hiatus due to the pandemic, the children’s liturgy will resume at Our Lady of Peace next Sunday, March 12, 2023, during the 9:30am Mass. The service will take place in the Sacristy. Due to a lack of volunteers and logistical constraints, we will start with a monthly session and work our way up from there. We encourage parents to let their children participate in this liturgy designed to help them understand and appreciate the faith. Lisa Mennone, lead of our parish Children’s ministry will be speaking briefly to us at Mass.
CHILDREN’S LITURGY OF THE WORD AT OUR LADY OF PEACE at the 9.45am Sunday Mass during school term time. All children who attend school reception class through to year two (ages 4-7) are invited.
A separate Liturgy of the Word with children is an opportunity for the children to hear God’s word using a simpler version of scripture from a children’s lectionary, explore the meaning of Sunday’s Gospel and be helped to make an appropriate response in prayer and action.

CHILDREN’S LITURGY AT ST ANDREW’S at the 11.30am Sunday Mass. Volunteers, on a monthly rota, from St Andrew’s are offering their services to pass the word of the Gospel to children attending Holy Mass. All children between the ages of 2 and under 8 years old are warmly invited. Parents and Grandparents also welcome.
