Synod Consultations
BOOK YOUR PLACE
The Consultation Sessions are now open and we have a variety of times/places and methods to offer so you can participate in this unique opportunity to share your thoughts and ideas on our church for today and for the future. Pope Francis recognises the challenges we are facing and wants to hear your ideas.
THE DISCUSSIONS
Three questions will be explored during the discussions and you will be invited to share your thoughts openly, without judgement and in complete confidence:
Q.1 What are some of your experiences of the Church doing something well?
Q.2 What would you like to see improved or changed and how?
Q.3 What are your dreams for the Church?
Please take a little time to reflect and you might like to jot down some thoughts in advance. All views and ideas will be welcomed with complete respect.

RETROUVAILLE Covid 19—a very challenging time for many marriages. So much uncertainty around, health, income, employment, vulnerable family members, children, housing. Retrouvaille is a programme to support couples, it brings a positive focus, new hope and helps nourish and grow your marriage and you don’t need to leave home, it comes to you! For confidential information about Retrouvaille or to register for the next programme, a Virtual weekend commencing 3rd – 6th March 2022 Call or text +44 788 729 6983.

BLAZE 2022 are pleased to announce that bookings for BLAZE 2022 are now open. Bishop David and NYMO invite Confirmandi school Year 7+ to attend BLAZE on Saturday 14th May 2022 at the Ridgeway Centre in Milton Keynes. BLAZE gives Confirmandi from across the Diocese the opportunity to come together: to be celebrated and encouraged as they prepare to be Confirmed, through an engaging and fast-paced day. The day starts at 11.00am and finishes at 5.00pm. At different points in the day, smaller groups of Confirmandi will have the chance to meet Bishop David and ask him questions. Throughout the day, Confirmandi will take part in a number of interactive workshops that include a mixture of different themes and activities. Although there will be some input before the groups go and explore their workshops, our aim is that Blaze is experiential: giving Confirmandi the chance to engage with the wider church and to be impacted by the many ways the Holy Spirit is at work within her! The cost for both Catechists and Confirmandi is £13 per person. Lunch is provided for catechists, but Confirmandi must bring a packed lunch.
