Notices
DECEASED Please pray for Conceicao Piedade D’Costa RIP who died recently, her funeral took place on 16th July. May her soul and souls of the faithful departed rest in peace, Amen.
KEEPING SAFE It is wonderful to see more people at Mass as each week goes by and we continue to encourage you to get both vaccinations as soon as you are invited. In the meantime, we remain vigilant, maintaining best possible standards of safety, continuing to wear face coverings, sanitising hands, collecting names and numbers for ‘Track and Trace’ and cleaning pews after each service. In addition to the above, stewards will take a closer look at movement throughout the Church during distribution of Holy Communion so you may be asked to wait at various times. And finally, an important reminder to please refrain from singing at Mass as it continues to be one of the most efficient ways of spreading an airborne disease. Thank you, once again, for your cooperation and your patience, which can only serve to keep you and everyone around you safe.
OUR LADY OF PEACE SCHOOL: YEAR 6 We celebrated a Leavers Mass with the pupils from Year 6, Our Lady of Peace School on Friday, 9th July. We thank the staff and pupils for their participation in the Mass and wish the pupils every blessing in their new ‘adventures’ in their Schools in September.
CONGRATULATIONS to Canon Tony Brennan who on Tuesday, 13th July was installed as a Canon of the Cathedral Chapter in Northampton. Canon Tony was Assistant Priest in Burnham in 1994 for six years! The Canons are the closest advisors to Bishop David. Please keep Canon Tony in your prayers.

PARISH PICNIC On Sunday 25th July we would like to invite everyone to the Presbytery Garden for a parish picnic. In the interest of good safety, rather than the usual ‘Bring and Share’ we felt it would be more appropriate for everyone to bring their own picnic and drinks, picnic rug/folding chairs etc so that we can maintain good hygiene standards. Please join us in the Presbytery Garden at 1.00pm. We very much look forward to seeing you all and to celebrating being together again as much as possible.
CONFIRMATION It is hoped to start the Confirmation programme on Thursday, 12th August, further details will be sent via email to all who have registered for the Sacrament of Confirmation, over the next few weeks.

Please obtain the permission of the Parishioner to provide their address to Yvonne.
FEELING ISOLATED? We realise there are many parishioners who are not on our data base who may be feeling isolated from the Parish because they hear nothing from us. To enable us to reach out and find out where people live and how they are managing, we are making a plea for Parishioners to contact people – via telephone or from a 2m distance wearing a mask, who have no access to the internet and encourage them to provide a telephone number to allow us to check on how they are. If you know of any parishioner please let Yvonne know, either via email office.ourladyofpeace[AT]northamptondiocese.org or telephone the office on 01628 605764.
SUBMISSIONS FOR THE PARISH WEBSITE OR WEEKLY NEWSLETTER can be sent to Yvonne. Items on paper and print are also accepted and can be given to Yvonne or Fr Joseph, or delivered to the Presbytery. The deadline for items for the printed bulletin is Thursday 12 noon.
