Funerals can be attended by a maximum of 30 people. Details of those attending must be provided to Yvonne before the date of the funeral.
STAYING ALERT As we enter this phase of the pandemic, it is critical we continue to follow Government rules and guidance. If you experience any COVID-19 symptoms, stay at home. If you tested positive for COVID-19 and were in Church recently, stay at home and inform us immediately by calling 01628 605764 so that we can take the necessary steps. Thank you for your continued vigilance and please God, we will see the vaccine rollout soon, but in the meantime, stay safe.
300 CLUB The St Andrew’s 300 Club Winter draw took place during a zoom CWL meeting last week. For various reasons the number of participants in this draw is slowly decreasing and we need 100 members in order to keep the prizes at this level. So, if anyone would like to pay £12.00 per year to take part, please contact Shelagh Whitehouse (01753 516502).
ROTARY CLUB OF BURNHAM BEECHES Mark Thomas, Club President, writes “On behalf of the Rotary Club we thank you and your congregation for the kind and generous support given in our effort to help some of the needy people in our local community. The pandemic has caused so many people to lose their jobs this year, often at short notice, which is upsetting at any time but for it to happen in the period leading up to Christmas is devastating. Our initiative has been to try and offer support to families in the locality who are facing hardship this Christmas. By providing food including the traditional Christmas treats, together with toys, books and games, we have been able to soften the blow to 37 local families, and the magnificent support given by your congregation played a large part in this achievement. Special thanks to Fr Joseph for initiating the support and to Leela in organising the process. Our best wishes to all your congregation.”
FACE MASKS Many thanks to all who have donated disposable face masks. We remind you that proper face coverings must be worn over the nose and mouth before entering the Church and throughout the duration of services.
MASS BOOKING Kindly drop off your intentions at the Presbytery, place it in the donation box in the Church or give it to Fr Anthony. You can still make a request for Masses by email and telephone.

FINANCES
Tony McNiff, the new Chief Operating Officer, COO of the Diocese, who is head of Finance and Development offices of the diocese has written to introduce himself and to thank you for your contributions. He is appealing on behalf of the diocese for your ongoing financial support. His letter also gives update on the sad financial impact of the COVID 19 on diocesan income, with loses for 6 months up to September 2020 amounting to £1.7m and our parish losing 55% of parish income for the same period. Full text of Tony’s letter is available in the Church and on the parish website.
We are ever so grateful for your financial support, and to the volunteers who help in so many ways for the Church to open again for Masses and for private prayer.
