OUR LADY OF PEACE CHURCH OPENING FOR PRIVATE PRAYER
I am delighted to announce the opening of the Church for the purpose of private prayer. In line with Diocese advice and guidelines, we will open for 4 sessions each week. There will be a maximum of 50 people allowed in per session and with the help of our wonderful volunteers and the PPC, everyone will be guided to a place to sit and given the necessary information to ensure their safety.
There will be a one way system with entry through the main door (car park side) and exit via the side door. If anyone has problems negotiating the steps, you can alert the stewards who will permit entry via the side door. The Stewards have been briefed to ensure that the appropriate guidance from the Diocese is followed and I am confident that everyone will respect their roles adhere to these rules.
Please God, we won’t have to wait too long more for full reopening and in the meantime, this partial opening is a welcome move closer to normality.
A donation box will be made available. While coming to Church for private prayers, you might wish to bring your prayer requests, Mass intentions, offertory envelopes and donations and drop them in the box provided in the Church.

Can You Volunteer?
We could still do with more volunteers. If you would like to volunteer, or if you would like to know more (the roles are described here), please contact Barbara Bryant on 07881 460024 or Brid Vaughan on 07540 013181. For obvious reasons, volunteers must not be those in the ‘at risk’ category.
Many thanks and God bless.
