THE MISSIONARY SOCIETY OF ST PAUL There will be a retiring collection this weekend for the work of the MSP. There are envelopes available in the Church porches, please return in the collection bags.
RACIAL JUSTICE SUNDAY This weekend the Catholic Church in England and Wales will celebrate Racial Justice. The theme is: “You are at the heart of the Church”, it will celebrate the contribution travelling communities make to the Church in England and Wales. It is an opportunity for all Catholics to pray for, reflect on, and respond to Racial Justice matters within the Church and wider society. Racial Justice Sunday should encourage proactive discussions on overt and covert forms of racism experienced by fellow Catholics from the travelling communities. There are leaflets available in the Church porches.

ADORATION of the Blessed Sacrament prior to the 6.00pm Mass on Saturdays, beginning at 5.15pm. Please respect the Lord and those who would like to pray by maintaining silence in Church prior to Mass. Also prior to the 9.30am Mass on Sundays, after the reflection, please maintain silence.
GIFT AID OFFERTORY ENVELOPES If you currently use envelopes, the new envelopes from April 2020 will be available from next weekend, they will be found on the table at the back of Our Lady of Peace Church. If you are a UK taxpayer, you could add 25p to every £1 that you give to your Parish (at no cost to yourself) through Gift Aid. BAPTISM PREPARATION COURSE The next Baptism Preparation course that Fr Joseph and Deacon Marek will be running begins on Wednesday, 4th March at 7.00pm and will be held in the Sacristy at Our Lady of Peace. If you wish for your child to be Baptised over the next few months, you will need to attend the course. This is especially important for first time parents. If you have not already advised that you will be attending, please contact Yvonne on 01628 605764.
SAFEGUARDING The Bishop has instructed that all Eucharist Ministers require to have a Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check in place. If you are a commissioned Eucharist Minister, and have not had a DBS check carried out, then please contact Yvonne on 01628 605764 or by email using this link, as a matter of urgency and she will arrange for a DBS to be carried out.

REJOICE IN MOTHERHOOD : MOTHERS PRAYERS For Mothers who wish to pray together for their children and grandchildren – Mothers, Grandmothers, Aunties! Please come and join us as we pray for our children in Our Lady of Peace Church at 10.30am on Thursdays. Please feel free to request prayers for family and friends. There is a ‘Mothers Prayers’ request book on the bookshelf at the side entrance to the Church.
OUR LADY OF PEACE CHILDREN’S LITURGY 9.30AM MASS All children aged 4-7/8 years (School Reception to year 3) are warmly invited to come along and listen to the Gospel especially adapted for this age group, with reflection and prayer time. Children who have made their First Holy Communion are encouraged to remain in the main Mass. OUR PARISH LIST OF THE SICK There is a book where you can enter the name of the person to be prayed for. In line with Data Protection legislation please obtain the consent of the person before entering their name in the book. This book will be placed on the altar during each Mass in Our Lady of Peace Church.
MASS OFFERING FORMS are available in the Church porches which you can complete for any Mass intentions you wish to have offered. Please return the form, with your offering, in an envelope and hand to Fr Joseph or Yvonne, or leave in the Sacristy or Presbytery.
OUR LADY OF PEACE CHURCH ‘DEFECTS LOG’ BOOK There is a ‘defects log’ book on the bookcase in Our Lady of Peace Church. If you find any defects which need to be investigated in the Church please make a note in the book.
SUBMISSIONS FOR THE PARISH WEBSITE OR WEEKLY NEWSLETTER can be sent to Yvonne. Items on paper and print are also accepted and can be given to Yvonne using this link, or Fr Joseph or delivered to the Presbytery. The deadline for items for the printed bulletin is Thursday 12 noon.

QUIZ NIGHT Holy Redeemer fundraising Team will be holding a Quiz night on 22nd February at The Holy Family Parish Centre, Langley starting at 7.30pm. ST PATRICK’S EVENING at St Andrew’s on Saturday, 14th March from 6.30pm. Celebrate an evening with a traditional supper, Irish Bingo, a raffle and music by Stephen Barker, complete with a licensed bar. Tickets will be on sale from next weekend, priced £10 for adults, children under 16 free, over 16 £10, food included. The proceeds of this event will be shared equally between Our Lady of Peace and St Andrew’s.
