CLERGY CHANGES As Fr Andy announced last weekend the Bishop has asked him to move to Holy Family Church, Luton, and Fr Emmanuel will also be moving to a different Parish. Their last weekend in the Parish will be 31st August – 1st September. Please keep our clergy in your Prayers.
APOSTLESHIP OF THE SEA : SEA SUNDAY This weekend is Sea Sunday, when the Church prays for all those who live and work at sea. Without them we would not have most of the items we buy in the shops. Today’s retiring collection is for Apostleship of the Sea (AoS), the Church’s official maritime welfare agency. It supports seafarers both practically and spiritually. This collection is vital to enable it to continue its work, so please give generously and remember seafarers in your prayers. Thank you. To donate online please visit www.apostleshipofthesea.org.uk there are stickers available for the children in the Church porches.

CAR PARKING Please when using the car park at the rear of Our Lady of Peace Church please keep the middle lane clear, this provides access for an emergency vehicle if necessary. Also we ask that you take care not to block pavements or the corner of the road leading into St Michael’s Court. It is very difficult for residents of St Michael’s Court to access Lower Britwell Road when cars are parked on the corner obstructing the view onto the road. Please drive in as far as you can to allow us to use all the available spaces. 🚗
USED STAMPS FOR THE MISSIONS Please save your stamps and put in the boxes available in the Church porches. Over the years used stamps have been collected at Slough and have been sold on to raise funds for work undertaken in schools, hospitals and Parishes by Sisters, Brothers, Lay People and Priests in the developing world. The used stamps are sold on to Dealers and Collectors, and the proceeds used to assist in funding Church projects abroad. This can be done here in this Parish by as many people as possible depositing as many stamps as is possible in the Stamps for the Missions box in the Church porch.
