Thanks be to you, our Lord Jesus Christ, for all the benefits which you have given us. For all the pains and insults which you have borne for us. Most merciful Redeemer, Friend and Brother, may we know you more clearly, love you more dearly, and follow you more nearly, day by day. Amen.

We are pleased to tell you that we have now sent cheques for £100 to each of the following charities: Thames Valley Air Ambulance, Alzheimer’s Dementia Support, Rennie Grove Hospice Care, Slough Food Bank, Autism Family Support and MacMillan Cancer Support.

This book will be placed on the altar during each Mass at Our Lady of Peace Church.
ST GILBERT’S MISSION Small plastic bottles are available in the Church porches for any loose change you would like to donate to the St Gilbert’s Mission Project. Please return full bottles to either St Gilbert’s or Our Lady of Peace.
SLOUGH FOODBANK “Thank you to the colleagues and parishioners of Our Lady of Peace Church, for your continued support and your donations of food throughout June 2018. The food weighed in a total 21.7kgs, which is equivalent to 24 individual meals.
It is wonderful to see the difference we can make to people’s lives, when we all work together towards a common purpose. When we live in comfortable homes surrounded by our loving families, it is easy to forget that others are not so fortunate. The food that you provided has made life a little more comfortable for local people who find themselves in difficulty. Thank you for helping to support them. We hope that you will continue to support Slough Foodbank.
Our July wish list is: Custard, Sponge puddings, Rice pudding, Fruit Juice, Mashed potatoes, Vegetarian meals (tinned/sachet), Tinned fruit, Deodorant, Carrier bags/long life bags. We anticipate that 2018 will be challenging for people who are teetering on the brink, and we are extremely grateful that your donations allow us to support families and individuals who are most in need. Thank you for your generous support.”
