EASTER FLOWERS There will be a second collection next weekend 17th – 18th March for the flowers for Easter. Our flower ladies who do the flowers each week produce beautiful displays and work hard throughout the year. Please be as generous as you can.

LENTEN RECONCILIATION SERVICE at Our Lady of Peace, Tuesday 27th March at 7.00pm with visiting confessors.
FIRST HOLY COMMUNION CLASSES The next session is on Saturday, 24th March from 9.30am – 11.00am in St Andrew’s Church, Cippenham. Please pray for our children so that they will grow in their appreciation of the sacraments of Confession and Holy Communion.

ETON WICK CHURCHYARD A planning application, number 18/00057, has been submitted to RBWM, to add a 25m x 30m extension to the graveyard. If this application is refused the Churchyard will be full by 2020 and there will be no new space for further burials or ash interments. CAR PARKING Please when parking at Our Lady of Peace we ask that you take care not to block pavements or the corner of the road leading into St Michael’s Court. It is very difficult for residents of St Michael’s Court to access Lower Britwell Road when cars are parked on the corner obstructing the view onto the road. When using the car park please drive in as far as you can to allow us to use all the available spaces. 🚗

USED STAMPS FOR THE MISSIONS
Please save your stamps and put in the boxes available in the Church porches. Over the years used stamps have been collected at Slough and have been sold on to raise funds for work undertaken in schools, hospitals and Parishes by Sisters, Brothers, Lay People and Priests in the developing world. The used stamps are sold on to Dealers and Collectors, and the proceeds used to assist in funding Church projects abroad. This can be done here in this Parish by as many people as possible depositing as many stamps as is possible in the Stamps for the Missions box in the Church porch.
ST GILBERT’S MISSION Small plastic bottles are available in the Church porches for any loose change you would like to donate to the St Gilbert’s Mission Project. Please return full bottles to either St Gilbert’s or Our Lady of Peace.
OUR LADY OF PEACE CHURCH ‘DEFECTS LOG’ BOOK There is a ‘defects log’ book on the bookcase in Our Lady of Peace Church. If you find any defects which need to be investigated in the Church please make a note in the book.

MASS OFFERING FORMS are available in the Church porches which you can complete for any Mass intentions you wish to have offered. Please return the form, with your offering, in an envelope and hand to Fr Andy or Yvonne, or leave in the Sacristy or Presbytery.
PARISH MASS BOOKS We are using Volume 1 of the Mass books for Year B. As with Year A and Year C, books if you would like to donate £1.95 for one of these books, or £7.95 for the large print books, please feel free to do so, and we will enter into the book a dedication for your intention. Just put into an envelope the offering and the name(s) you wish inscribed in the book(s) and hand to Yvonne at the Sacristy or Presbytery: for a deceased person please add ‘RIP’ to the name or names; for someone alive, please add ‘Intention’.

LET IT BE – INSPIRING NEW VIDEO COURSE ON MARY We will be running the new CaFE film on the life of Mary past and present. Filmed around the world with well-known experts and down-to-earth testimonies about how the example and prayer of Mary can help us grow in our everyday faith.
Why not bring a friend and come and check out Session 1. This course will run for six weeks from Friday, 13th April until Friday, 18th May. Each session will start at 7.30pm and will be held in Our Lady of Peace Church. NOVENA TO ST JOSEPH from 10th-18th March at St Joseph’s Church, Maidenhead. Each year the Mill Hill Missionaries prepare for the Feast of St Joseph, their patron, with a special Novena of Masses and prayers to ask for God’s blessing on their Society and the missionary outreach of the Church, as well as for the intentions of all those who support their work. All are invited to attend.
Masses are as follows: Saturday, 10th March at 10.00am, Sunday, 11th March at 10.45am, Monday, 12th to Friday, 16th March at 7.30pm, Saturday, 17th March at 10.00am, and Sunday, 18th March at 10.45am.

THE PASSION – The Parish Evangelisation Team will be showing the BBC film “The Passion” on Palm Sunday, 25th March starting at 2.00pm in the Sacristy or in the Church, depending on numbers. The certification for this film is 12. The film is long and there will be an Interlude with refreshments provided. The film starts with Jesus entry into Jerusalem and finishes with His appearances after the Resurrection. This film was first shown during Holy Week 2008.
