ROSARY LINK FOR VOCATIONS On Monday, 5th March the 9.30am Mass at Our Lady of Peace Church will be followed by Adoration and the Rosary praying for Vocations.

BAPTISM PREPARATION COURSE The next Baptism Preparation course that Deacon Marek will be running begins on Wednesday, 28th February 2018 at 7.00pm and will be held in the Sacristy at Our Lady of Peace. If you wish for your child to be Baptised over the next few months, you will need to attend the course. This is especially important for first time parents. FIRST HOLY COMMUNION The children will be making their First Reconciliation on Saturday 10th March in Our Lady of Peace Church. This is in two groups, Group 1 with surname A-K will be at 9.30am, Group 2 with surname L-Z will be at 11.00am. This is compulsory attendance and parents will need to attend with the child. When you are next in Our Lady of Peace Church please take time to see the poster the children have prepared which asks the Parish to pray for them.
Please continue to pray for our children so that they will grow in their appreciation of the sacraments of Confession and Holy Communion.
SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION 2018 the Confirmation programme meet again on Thursday, 1st March at 7.00pm in Our Lady of Peace.

ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT every Monday at Our Lady of Peace from 7.00pm to 8.00pm. All welcome to join in Contemplating the Face of Christ through prayer, praise and stillness. There is also Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament at St Andrew’s every Thursday from 8.30am – 9.30am. All welcome.
NHS BLOOD AND TRANSPLANT The ever-urgent call for blood donors has recently become more emphatic. Apart from the usual poster in the Church porch there is a supply of forward planners for this current half year for sessions in this area. Please take one if you require it.

CAR PARKING Please when parking at Our Lady of Peace we ask that you take care not to block pavements or the corner of the road leading into St Michael’s Court. It is very difficult for residents of St Michael’s Court to access Lower Britwell Road when cars are parked on the corner obstructing the view onto the road. When using the car park please drive in as far as you can to allow us to use all the available spaces. 🚗
ST ANDREW’S 300 CLUB If you wish to join the 300 Club please contact Shelagh Whitehouse on 01753 516502. Forms are available in the Church porches.
USED STAMPS FOR THE MISSIONS
Please save your stamps and put in the boxes available in the Church porches. Over the years used stamps have been collected at Slough and have been sold on to raise funds for work undertaken in schools, hospitals and Parishes by Sisters, Brothers, Lay People and Priests in the developing world. The used stamps are sold on to Dealers and Collectors, and the proceeds used to assist in funding Church projects. This can be done here in this Parish by as many people as possible depositing as many stamps as is possible in the Stamps for the Missions box at the back of Church. Please make a real effort to bring your used stamps to Church and help in this simple way to support the Church’s work abroad.
ST GILBERT’S MISSION Small plastic bottles are available in the Church porches for any loose change you would like to donate to the St Gilbert’s Mission Project. Please return full bottles to either St Gilbert’s or Our Lady of Peace.
OUR LADY OF PEACE CHURCH ‘DEFECTS LOG’ BOOK There is a ‘defects log’ book on the bookcase in Our Lady of Peace Church. If you find any defects which need to be investigated in the Church please make a note in the book.

MASS OFFERING FORMS are available in the Church porches which you can complete for any Mass intentions you wish to have offered. Please return the form, with your offering, in an envelope and hand to Fr Andy or Yvonne, or leave in the Sacristy or Presbytery.
PARISH MASS BOOKS We are using Volume 1 of the Mass books for Year B. As with Year A and Year C, books if you would like to donate £1.95 for one of these books, or £7.95 for the large print books, please feel free to do so, and we will enter into the book a dedication for your intention. Just put into an envelope the offering and the name(s) you wish inscribed in the book(s) and hand to Yvonne at the Sacristy or Presbytery: for a deceased person please add ‘RIP’ to the name or names; for someone alive, please add ‘Intention’.

LET IT BE – INSPIRING NEW VIDEO COURSE ON MARY – COMING SOON We will be running the new CaFE video on the life of Mary past and present. Filmed around the world with well-known experts and down-to-earth testimonies about how the example and prayer of Mary can help us grow in our everyday faith. NOVENA TO ST JOSEPH from 10th-18th March at St Joseph’s Church, Maidenhead. Each year the Mill Hill Missionaries prepare for the Feast of St Joseph, their patron, with a special Novena of Masses and prayers to ask for God’s blessing on their Society and the missionary outreach of the Church, as well as for the intentions of all those who support their work. All are invited to attend.
Masses are as follows: Saturday, 10th March at 10.00am, Sunday, 11th March at 10.45am, Monday, 12th to Friday, 16th March at 7.30pm, Saturday, 17th March at 10.00am, and Sunday, 18th March at 10.45am.

ST PATRICK’S CELEBRATIONS ☘️ SATURDAY, 17TH MARCH – we will once again be
celebrating St Patrick’s Day with an entertaining evening at St Andrew’s. Come along
