CATHEDRAL CAMPAIGN Our Cathedral in Northampton is the Mother Church of our Diocese. If you have ever visited it, you will be aware of its beauty, but also its limitations in being able to offer hospitality and accommodating special events and groups. Over the last two years exciting plans have been developed for the future of the Cathedral and Bishop Peter would like you to hear about them and how you can be involved in making them a reality by lending your support to the campaign. Presentations will be given by Canon Mark Floody (Cathedral Dean) during all Masses at Our Lady of Peace and St Andrew’s next weekend 25th/26th March.

SLOUGH FOODBANK #40 FOR 40 By giving up 40 pence a day for the 40 days of Lent you can raise enough to help support a local family in crisis this Easter. In essence, for 40 days throughout Lent, 40p per day is put aside to donate to Slough Foodbank. The £16 saved becomes £20 including Gift Aid, where applicable. This is a huge help towards their £100 per day overheads and operational costs.
Please find an old jam jar or similar container and start collecting, then bank the contents and send a cheque, together with the Gift Aid form if applicable, to Slough Foodbank, PO Box 4703, Slough, SL1 0ZL. Gift Aid forms available in the Church porches. Alternatively you can donate online at slough.foodbank.org.uk/donate-money
